About us
Our kitchen
Yoga Meal Flow is a small, independent recipe journal for people who love yoga and simple, home-cooked vegetarian food.
Why this site exists
Many people who practice yoga become curious about food: what feels good before an early class, what to cook on a quiet evening, how to bring the same attention they find on the mat into the kitchen. Yoga Meal Flow gathers recipes and short notes for exactly that curiosity. Everything here is vegetarian, most of it is plant-forward, and a large share of it follows the traditional habit of cooking without onion or garlic.
We are home cooks, not doctors, dietitians or yoga therapists. Our recipes are shared for the pleasure of cooking and eating, and we never claim that any food will treat, cure or prevent anything.
What you will find
- 21 recipes organized by time of day: morning, midday, evening, and sips and sweets.
- Practice notes on mindful eating, pantry building, tempering spices and planning a calm week.
- Clear ingredient lists in US measurements, with metric weights for key ingredients.
How we develop recipes
Each recipe is written from scratch and cooked in a home kitchen with ordinary equipment. We note prep and cook times as honestly as we can, explain why each step matters, and suggest swaps for ingredients that can be hard to find. Read more in our editorial standards.

How the site is funded
Yoga Meal Flow is free to read and shows no ads. We pay to promote the site with Google Ads campaigns, so you may have found us through a sponsored result. Paying for promotion has no influence on which recipes we publish or what we write.
